PAUL - Mrs. Joyce H. Paul, 86, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Born in Albemarle, NC she had made her home in Jacksonville for many years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church since 2002 and before joining Calvary had been a member of Heavenly Heights Baptist Church for 32 years where she worked in the church nursery. Mrs. Paul was always active in church life. Her surviving family includes: her husband of 68 years, Albert Lee Paul; her children, Candace (Russell) Givens and Ronald (Janet) Paul; 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Monday, July 4, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 4040 Dunn Ave., with Pastor George Kratochvil and Rev. Lynn Massey officiating . Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
