Judith Hazouri Peveto, 76, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024. She was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and lived most of her life in Jacksonville. Judy was the last surviving sibling in her family of 3 children.
She was preceded in death by her Mother who she happily cared for, for many years, Naime Hazouri, Father, Rufus Hazouri, and brothers, Mitchell Hazouri and Kenny Hazouri.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Darrell W. Peveto, devoted children, son, Jeffrey M. Peveto (Jodi), son, Brian E. Peveto (predeceased by his wife, Susanna), daughter, Dawna M. Miller (Mike); grandchildren, Jaina L. Peveto, Lacie M. Lambert, Judi C. Peveto, Ryder S. Lambert, Caleb J. Peveto, Dylan G. Peveto, and Parker E. Geiger, all of whom she so enjoyed; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Friday, September 20, 2024 at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Legacy Lodge 4801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville 32207 with a reception to follow.
The family has requested for the dress code to be casual.
