June Ellen McDowell

June Ellen passed away on February 2, 2022 in Jacksonville, Fl. She was 69 years old. June was born on June 17, 1952 and raised in Key West, Fl.

June is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Elizabeth Menendez Rardon and

father, Louis R. Menendez.

Our sister June enjoyed spending time with family, friends and was happiest shopping for bargains and eating out. She loved getting pictures of all her nieces, nephews and displaying them proudly as they grew up. Although she worked several different jobs throughout her life, she loved being home raising her son, Louis and being a homemaker.

June is survived by her husband Bob McDowell; son Louis McDowell, sister April Gili (Larry), brother Bob Menendez (Cathy). She is also survived by family members Bobby Menendez (Jen) daughters Skylar and Presley, Heather Niemiec (Chris) son Thomas , Chris Carrico, Dee Dee Henriquez (Ralph), Ashley McMahan(Ben) daughter Isabell, son Ralph Henriquez Jr., Christina Naranjo, Alex Naranjo, Angela Villard, Hazel Naranjo, Julian Sanchez, cousins Mary Martinez (Doug) son Doug , daughter Angelina Martinez ,her daughter Harmony and son Hayden.

June was surrounded by many friends in her Jacksonville neighborhood. On behalf of our family we wanted to thank each of you for always being there for her in a time of need.

A celebration of life will be held on March 17, 2022 at the Fruitgrove Baptist Church at 11 am in Jacksonville, Fl.
