Kathleen C. Leddy

A devoted wife and mother, KC spent countless joyful years cheering from the sidelines at baseball fields and managing backstage at dance recitals. She worked for many years at Independent Life before dedicating herself fully to her family as a stay-at-home mom. In her later years, she found her greatest joy in the warmth and love of family gatherings and the companionship of dear friends. A proud breast cancer survivor, KC lived life with resilience and passion. She was also The Rolling Stones’ number one fan, her love for their music bringing her endless happiness throughout the years.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen McGowen (Jared), Walt Leddy (Carrie); cherished grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Haylee McGowen, Jack McGowen, Wyatt Leddy, and Palmer Leddy; Brothers and sisters, James Hodges, Hubert Hodges (Beth), and Candy Simpson; and numerous loving nieces and nephews: Hugh Hodges (EB), Rick Hodges, Shandy Simpson (Katy), Brandy Simpson, Brady Hodges, Shai Hodges, Cadence Hodges, Theodore Simpson, and Natalie Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents Christine Hodges, Hubert Hodges, and Mary Shea, and nephew Michael Hodges.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 9 at 11:00 am at Corey Kerlin Funeral Home 940 Cesery Blvd.
