Kathleen Shank Moody departed this life on August 10, 2019. She was born in Charlotte, NC on April 10, 1969, the daughter of William (Bill) Henry Shank, Jr., deceased, and Geraldine (Gerry) Dotson Shank. The family moved to Jacksonville in 1970 where Kathy attended Assumption Catholic School and Bishop Kenny High School.
She was a very talented artist who turned her creative skills into a hair stylist and colorist business she proudly called her own for more than 20 years. She loved bringing her creative juices to life.
In her free time, she volunteered at Assumption, where her daughter went to school, as a basketball and soccer coach. She played on the ladies tennis teams at Hidden Hills and Deercreek Country Clubs. She loved the beach and would spend hours searching for seashells.
She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond (Ray) Moody, and wonderful daughter, Audrey, who is enrolled at Bishop Kenny. And also by her mother, Gerry Shank and sister, Theresa (Terrie) Shank.
