

Kathleen E. Walsh, 88, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on September 19, 2012. Kathleen was a hat model in her younger years, and served as a Gray Lady during WWII. She had a beautiful soprano voice, and was a proud member of the Thursday Bells. She was a talented seamstress and was the original Martha Stewart. Kathleen was a devoted wife, beloved mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Thomas Edward Joseph Walsh, and her daughter, Mary Beth Goyette. Surviving family members include her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Walsh, Linda Walsh-Kelley (Jack) and Debbie Walsh; son-in-law, Frank Goyette; grandchildren, Sean Kelley, Bridget Kelly Dillon, Katie Kelley Poirior, Joel Kelley, Devin Kelley, and Laura Kelley Holiday; and great-grandchildren, Amanda, Bryan, Sophia, Ethan, Logan, Jared, Conor, Ashlyn and Caiden. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Monday, September 24th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 25th in San Juan del Rio Catholic Church, 1714 SR 17 Fruit Cove FL 32259 with Father John Tetlow as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph s Catholic Cemetery, Loretto Rd., Jacksonville, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer s Association, www.alz.org, or 1-800-272-3900.
