Kathryn P Brannen

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida 32207.

Kathryn, an only child, was born in Valdosta, Georgia to William Thomas Pewitt and Tessie Mae Miley on November 7, 1929. She retired from Vulcan Iron Works in Palm Beach County where she worked as an Executive Secretary. She is preceded in death by her husband, William C. Brannen, who was the Chief Engineer of the South Florida Water Management District for 28 years. She was an active member of Jupiter Methodist Church on Indiantown Road. She was also an active member of Maggie Valley United Methodist Church, Maggie Valley, NC, where they lived summer and fall each year for 27 years.

Kathryn was a devoted mother and loving friend to many and will be deeply missed.

Kathryn is survived by her Son, Scott /Eileen Ybanez of Jacksonville, FL,

Son, William C. Brannen III of Valdosta, GA, and Daughter, Linda /Nathan Franzblau of Jacksonville, FL. She leaves seven Grandchildren and nine great-Grandchildren.
