Kathryn Anne Robinson

Born on September 30, 1948, in Painesville, Ohio, Kit was the daughter of Mary Anne and the late William Kelly Jr. She grew up in Grand River, Ohio, surrounded by a large and loving family. Her warmth and laughter were constants throughout her journey from Ohio to Florida, where she built a fulfilling life rooted in family and friendship.

Kit was a devoted wife to her late husband, John “Jack” Robinson of Fruit Cove, Florida. She is survived by her daughters: Kelly Edenfield of Fruit Cove, FL; and Shawn (Philip) Yanan of Cooper City, FL. She was a proud grandmother to Chase Edenfield, Joseph Yanan, and John “Jack” Yanan.

She is also survived by her mother Mary Anne Kelly of Grand River, OH; brothers Michael (Lori) Kelly of Concord Township, OH; Timothy (Pam) Kelly of Huber Heights, OH; Daniel (Francine) Kelly of Coconut Creek, FL; sister Colleen (Joe) Abt of Pittsburgh, PA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father William Kelly Jr. and brother Kevin Kelly.

Kit dedicated much of her professional life to the health insurance industry. She retired from First Coast Service Options, a Medicare administrator, after 25 years of service and later continued her career at Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute.

Kit’s love for reading offered her endless adventures and among her favorite activities was baking delicious treats made with love alongside her grandsons and laughing with friends over a glass of wine.

As a parishioner of San Juan del Rio Catholic Church in Fruit Cove, Kit served on the Ladies Auxiliary and lent her voice to the church choir.

A funeral service will be held at San Juan del Rio on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.

Kit’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the family and friends she loved dearly. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
