LaGretta Joyce Coleman

Ms. LaGretta Joyce Bender Coleman was born November 22, 1951 to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Bender Jr. and Fannie Mae Bender. She graduated from William M. Raines High School Class of 1969 "ICHIBAN" where she was a member of the Marching Band.

She was a devoted member of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church and served on the Hospitality Ministry.

On July 5, 1975 she united in holy matrimony to Henry Coleman Jr. and was married for 15 years.

LaGretta was employed as an Accounting Clerk for Southern Bell for 19 years.

Ms. LaGretta Joyce Bender Coleman departed this life on March 3, 2021 and leaves to cherish her loving memory are her children, Tammy Dorice Reddish (Victor), Tori Dior Scott (Darrell Sr), Tia Danica Coleman (Nathaniel III); grandchildren, Victoria, Tania, Darrell Jr., Nathaniel IV, and Noah; siblings, Alvin Martin, Jacqueline Taylor, Robert Bender (Brenda), Carolyn Bender, Lisa Bender along with a host of nieces, nephews and devoted friends.

A Celebration of LaGretta's Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 12th in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
