Larry was born January 9, 1941, in Turtle Creek, PA. Son of the late Edward and Florence (Cothery) McKay and brother to the late Bill McKay.
Larry moved to Jacksonville in 1965 and worked for CSX Transportation for 37 years. He loved his family and his church family at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mayport.
Larry is survived by his sister JoEllen Reoyo and her husband Frank of Jacksonville, FL and his nephew Billy McKay and his wife Leslie of Jeanette, PA.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2400 Mayport RD, Jacksonville, FL 32233.
