Laura Mae Burnett

Burnett: Laura Mae Burnett 53, passed away Sept. 6, 2008 after a long battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was born on June 28, 1955 and lived in Jax. most of her life. She grew up in Mareitta where she learned to ride horses and won many trophies barrel racing. She attended Ed White Sr. High. She was a former Bartender and a long time member of N. Jax. Moose where she met and later married her husband They recently celebrated their 23rd Anniversary on Aug. 17, 2008.She enjoyed NASCAR and cheered for #24. She was also an excellent cook. Laura Mae was predeceased by her father; Charlie Revels. She is survived by her husband; James Eric Burnett, daughter; Michelle (Roger) Brantley. Son; Jason Burnett, Grandkids; Cheyanna Hall, Dylan Brantley, Lilly Burnett. Twin sister; Carrie McCoy and nieces and nephews; Ashley, Bobby, Chris and Clinton McCoy. Her great big smile and charming wit will certainly be missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service to honor her memory will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 14, 2008 at N. Jax.
