Memorial services for Mrs. Lenore Poole Leman, will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, April 14, 2012 in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 5616 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, with The Reverend Teresa Ryan Seagle officiating. Mrs. Leman, born October 15, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, died March 4, 2012 following a long illness. She retired from the Duval County School Board where she was a Teacher Assistant. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, a member of Jacksonville Elks #221, and Girl Scout Gateway Council.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John Pate Leman. Survivors include daughters and sons-in law, Linda and Matthew Wimpee of Jacksonville, FL, Maggie Leman and Dan Dawson of Durham, NC and Joanne Leman and Gordon Becker of New Port Richey, FL; a granddaughter, Shanna Gamache and her husband, Erik, of Los Angeles, CA; step-grandchildren, Curtis Wimpee of British Columbia, Canada and Karen Perkins of Hilliard, FL.
