

LeRoy accepted Christ in 1983 and served as a youth usher at Words of Life church under the pastoral leadership of Stan Moore, Jr. LeRoy enjoy his bible studies and loved serving God. LeRoy was tested and determined to be a gifted student from the 1st grade. He loved to read and got his own personal library card at the age of 6. He was bused to the different gifted schools during his elementary years. During his middle school years, he attended the program at Miami Dade Community College where he earned college credits. He graduated from American Senior High School in 1994. He was proud of his heritage and attended Bethune Cookman College/ University. He graduated with a Bachelor in Hospitality Management and Business Administration. His studies included trips aboard to Africa and Europe as part of his training.
LeRoy met the love of his life, Janet Yvette in June 2004 at Daytona Beach, Florida, He adored little Erielle Denise who was only 11 at the time. The family now includes a precious little granddaughter, Nakira Yvette who affectionately calls them “Ron Ron” and “Jan Jan”!
LeRoy was an active member of Boaz Lodge #212 Daytona Beach, FL and Shriners Ancient City Temple No. 63. He was an avid reader of books and magazines and had a rare library collection. He loved fishing and received his first reel and rod on his 5th birthday. He completed all the necessary firearms training and certifications and was recognized as a firearms expert. He enjoyed reality TV shows about outdoorsman activities like fishing, hunting, and similar sports.
Travelling aboard was one of his greatest accomplishments. He took pride in his profession as restaurant manager and held several positions over the years. His last position was manager at the Jacksonville Beach Outback Steak House. LeRoy, like his parents, had a spirit of generosity, always giving and helping others.
Preceding him in his death is His father, Leroy Williams, and his grandparents John and Mable Williams and Caesar and Rena Hamilton. To cherish his memories, he leaves his mother, Cynthia Hamilton Williams; Janet, Erielle and Nakira; Godchildren, Kayla Barney, D’Andre Clinch and Kieanna Wilson; Godparents, Juanita Hamilton Clinch and Ernest (Sherry) Hamilton, Sr.; a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and a caring work family.
A memorial service for LeRoy will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
