Lillian Spiegel Oberlander

Lillian Oberlander, 90, passed away January 21, 2014. She was originally from the Bronx, NY and moved to Jacksonville fourteen years ago from Lauderdale Lakes. She retired from the New York State Liquor Authority . She lived at the Coves for 6 years, where she enjoyed singing with their Choraleers group. Survivors include her son, Lewis Oberlander (Beverly); two daughters, Andrea Falk (Bernard) and Jeryl Bodack (Kenneth); and five grandchildren, Stephen (Michelle), Robby, Sara (Sie), Eli and Danny (Kaysa), and four great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Hardage-Giddens Hendricks with Rabbi Mark Wieder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River Garden Hebrew Home.
