Linda's farewell to her family and friends is the most beautiful, heartfelt "letter" I've ever read.  Even though it was a short time that we were acquainted, I am truly blessed to have crossed Linda's path.  My deepest condolences to Ron and Linda's family and friends.  May God bless all of you and give you comfort and peace.

Linda was a childhood friend of mine, we grew up in the same town in NJ. I have fond memories of Girl Scout camping trips with Linda and her mother (who was our troop leader). Linda was always upbeat and seemed to have a smile on her face at all times. She will be missed.

I admire your strength, courage, and gift of love you gave to so many.  Having the strength to say good-bye personally speaks volumes of your character.  Therefore, I am going to do the same and write personally to you and say good-bye.  
I am a little late in this game because I just found out last night you left to spend eternal time with all the peace, joy, and freedom from pain to live with Jesus Christ himself. 
Do you remember meeting back at UCS?  When you met Ron?  Of course, you do and so do I.  I remember planning your wedding.  Wow, we had wonderful times.  I still remember Tommy and me going to your wedding and being invited to the Olive Garden.  What a grand day it was.  Tommy and I were so blessed to be part of that special day.  Just like you being there for me during a rough pregnancy.  (I still have that one piece of furniture your dad made with his hands that we just spoke of last year.)  Then that ugly thing of time flies when your life takes two separate paths and you loose touch.  I left UCS and you went on to take all those cruises â€“ you know until this day I still have not gone on one.  Anyway, I remember the day face book brought us back in others life â€“ I was so excited and again face book is what lead me to this farewell.  I apologize for not being there for you my friend. I do know in my heart you understand and know what I have been dealing with. This has to be the strangest thing I have done but I do not care.  I really love and will miss you. That speaks volumes to what memories can do for the soul.
Ron, I wish you and all your family and friends my thoughts and prayers and please let me know if I can do anything.

I worked with Linda for a short time and she was such an inspiration to me!  I am blessed to have known her and she will be greatly missed.   Your family is in my prayers.

"Our earthly world has lost an angel who now soars in the lords heaven.  Linda we miss you greatly.  Your personality, outlook on life and great courage was inspirational to all who knew you.   We will always see your precious smile and hope  that we can emulate your strength when our calling comes.  Ron never wavered in his strength while providing for his Linda during the tough periods. I love you Linda. I will miss you more than words can say, but I know that we will be reunited. What hope we have through Jesus. Death is swallowed up in victory. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The world has lost one of it's best. My memories of her. The pool parties at Debbies.  That Mustang she loved so much. The way she ran out of the house the first time I was home on leave from the Army. Hiding from her father at public functions when he was working as a auxiliary policeman. Last not not least. The dirty looks from both her dad and the high school band director as Linda and I snuggled under the blanket at the football games. Those were the days. Linda you will be in my heart forever. Your friendship was beyond measure, your strength for life was enormous, and your beauty to enjoy all of life's pleasures has been remarkable.   Your next journey takes you to places that you know well through Jesus Christ.  Your faith inspires all who knew you.  Rest for now.

All tho her life was cut short by many standards she had a very full and Happy life, one that many people many years older never have experienced. Linda is a good example of the old saying " The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" with parents and grandparents as wonderful  and special as they were and ARE.

Linda was a wonderful Mother and as proud to be a Grand Mother as anyone could ever be.  I am so glad she was a part of my life and so thankful for the gift of Tara, that she gave me.  I am thrilled that she was able to welcome her grandson, Collin, into the world with lots of hugs and kisses.  I am thankful for the love and care that her loving husband Ron provided to Linda all the way to the end.  I am thankful for the time I had to share with Linda since our move back to Florida.  I mostly love the relationship between our families to be able to share special moments together.  I know that Linda's mother Lorraine is hurting in ways I hope to never understand.  She has all our love and prayers.  I hope that Ron knows how much respect I have for his tireless efforts to keep Linda as healthy and happy as possible.  NO ONE could have taken better care of her.  Linda will be missed so much.  I have promised to keep her memory going for Collin as we all watch him grow up.

I thank you for welcoming me into your life. You are a remarkable women and an inspiration.  You blessed this world with Tara, whom you guided and nurtured into a beautiful young woman and mother. Tara in return blessed you and this world Colin Lee. Your smile would always light up a room, and your laugh was contagious.  I will miss the Hey You, when we start our conversations. I will miss you more than words can express and although we wanted you here longer, our Lord and the heavens needed you more.  Until we meet again, HEY YOU, Love you always.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Linda in person but felt like I knew her because we have been in touch in email and social networking facebook site for about 4 years now. I am also a email pal of her mom Lorraine. I will miss Linda's encouraging words and her upbeat spirit. I will miss hearing from her. She was an inspiration. What a wonderful obituary she wrote...that was Linda, always thinking of others and acknowledging others. She is missed and I will always remember her. We will meet in the by and by, this I know. My condolances go out to the family and all who loved her.

I thank God for the many fun times Linda and I shared in grade school, junior high and high school! She was always a good friend with a smile for any situation! Prayers for Lorraine, Ed, Ron and Tara to find comfort in their memories.

Our last cruise together this past Thanksgiving will always be one of my most cherished memories.  How I loved dancing the night away with you.       We lost a precious, sweet, wonderful, encourager of a friend...but Heaven gained an Angel!  You were such and encouragement to so many and YOU CHANGED LIVES! I've known Linda for 23 years...she was married to Michael and he and my husband were air traffic controllers together in Jacksonville, FL. I love Tara and Lorraine and pray for you both to have a comforting peace from God. We will miss Linda and she wrote beautifully.

My heartfelt sympathy to Lorraine, Linda's mother; Eddie, Linda's brother; Linda's husband, Ron and daughter, Tara and to all her loved ones.  God gave Linda so much strenghth through her illness and has called her home where she will be all well again.  God be with you all as you grieve and then to know, especially, at this Easter time, that she is with the Lord.

Linda and I went through a lot of fun together through the years and I will miss her very much. I could not imagine how my life would have been without her. She made me understand that life is not always as serious as I thought it was and to enjoy each moment. She has been a sister to me and has helped me through some tough times too.  She has been a wonderful Aunt to my son Alex who always loved her and knew that she loved him.

My sympathy and love to all of Linda's family.  Even though we had not seen each other since Tara was a baby, memories of our times together still make me smile.

Dear Tara, I didn't know your mother or family; but, I read her obituary today and was very touched.  What a beautiful gift she gave in writing this! My father died from cancer last summer and never would accept his fate and say goodbye. It seems that your mother had the strength to do so and that was such a blessing! You and your family will be in my prayers.  God bless you all!

Your strength and faith were as strong as anyone I have ever known. You will always be in our hearts and will be remembered for all of the good times.

We had the good fortune to meet this beautiful lady and her husband once in Harrisburg at my sister Ellen's funeral.
We as a family appreciated their support as we send out condolences to Ron and the extended family.
We will continue to pray for all of you in Christs name.
