Lois E. Fowler

Lois E. Fowler, 88, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her. Lois was born June 6, 1924 in Harrisburg, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Fowler, Sr. and is survived by daughter, Patricia (Douglas) Brantley; son, William (Janet) O. Fowler, Jr.; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Sunday, (TODAY), October 7, 2012 from 2-4 PM at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME OF MANDARIN, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2012 at First Christian Church, 11924 San Jose Blvd Jacksonville with Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mandarin Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at Council on Aging (COA) for having such a positive impact on Lois' life. Their activities and programs were something she looked forward to and were a great outlet for her to enjoy.
