Loretta Bell Wolfe Andriesse passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 80. She was born on June 18, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Ribault High School in 1963 where she played the clarinet in the band along with being a majorette. After graduating she wanted to join the military but she did not meet the height requirements. She became a stay-at-home mother from 1964-1971 before starting her career with the Duval County Police Department as a secretary for the Burglary Unit in 1971-1983. During this time she also tried to become a police officer but once again did not meet their height requirements.
Loretta didn't stop there. She continued working in the Burglary Unit until she got her Associates in Science Degree in December of 1983 in the Nursing field. She worked in all the local hospitals in Jacksonville, Florida from 1983-1994. She then went to work for the State of Florida with Children Family Services from 1994-2004. In the years after, she started working at numerous Nursing Home Facilities and enjoyed singing and playing her organ with the Residents.
Loretta loved serving the Lord and singing in the church choir, and playing the piano, and organ. She could always light up every room that she walked into. She also loved playing pranks on people to make them laugh. She truly loved spending time with her great- grandsons, Brayden and Brantley Zoller, attending all their baseball practices and games. She also loved the outdoors and doing her crossword puzzles.
Loretta is preceded in death by her father, Paul H. Wolfe Sr.; her mother, Birdie Louise Fernandez; sisters Mary Ann Dennis and Paula Ann; and sons-in-law Dennis James Mcguire and Dwight Miller.
