Lorraine Lind

Lorraine Lind, 78, longtime resident of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2010. She was born in New York on May 14, 1931 to the late Abraham and Margaret (Berger) Wolf. She attended New York schools and married Theodore Lind in 1952. A graduate of Patterson State University, she earned her Masters at Nova University. Lorraine was an icon at Pine Forest Elementary School, teaching fifth grade for 28 years.

Surviving are sons, Jeffrey (Beth) Lind and Barry Lind, two grandchildren, Alexandra and Mallory Lind, a brother, Stuart (Dr. Bonnie) Wolf, niece, Lauren Wolf and many dear friends.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Beth Shalom section in Evergreen Cemetery. Rabbi Martin Sandberg will officiate.
