Lura P. Knight passed away on May 12, 2020. Lura was predeceased by her son David D. Knight Sr., parents Joe and Evie Player, brothers Edward and Thomas Player. She is survived by her daughter Linda G. Knight, grandchildren David D. Knight Jr., Frances E. (Beth) Knight, great-grandchildren Zachary, Gabriel, Abygale, Dominik, siblings Elzie Player, Jolee Tuten Frye, Lucille Stefaniak. Lura was a legal secretary with Mahoney Hadlow and executive secretary with Barnett Bank. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and FCCJ. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery on Saturday, June 6 at noon.
