Marc W. Geiger Sr.

Marc William Geiger, Sr. suddenly passed away at his home on January 11, 2015. Marc was born in St. Augustine, FL on October 3, 1950, the son of the late William Roscoe Geiger and the late Winifred Misner Geiger. He grew up in Green Cove Springs where he graduated from high school. He served six years in the Naval Reserve.

Marc worked many years selling private label and OTC products to various retailers. Most recently, Marc was employed with River Point Behavioral where he was loved by many of his co-workers. Marc was boisterously active in his church, where all who knew him knew within moments that he loved the Lord Jesus.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Lynn; sons, Marc, Jr. and Daniel; daughters, Valerie, Emily and Carrie; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Benjamin, Samantha, Tabitha, Jacob and Tatum; sisters, Caralyn (Jim) Maher and Margaret Macy;brother, Timm (Andrea) Geiger and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Marc was predeceased by his grandson, Brandon.

Memorial Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 17 at Church of Our Saviour 12236 Mandarin Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32223.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of Our Saviour “It’s Our Turn” campaign.
