Susan and Robbie,  So sorry to hear about your mom's passing.  She was a wonderful second mom when I was growing up.

The loss of a love one is the hardest thing to deal with in life but help from the God of all comfort can give us the strength to endure.

If I could imagine anyone in Heaven with jewels in their crown, it is Marie Barrett.  A sweet person, to be sure, but a beautiful soul who proved to me a person can rise above the wrongs of the world and live the plan God has for us.  She always amazed me  and while I'm saddened by her passing, I praise God for blessing her with peace.

Robbie,I wanted to let you know that you and your family are in our prayers. Ms.Barrett  was a very sweet lady.  We are here if you need anything. I know the days to come will be hard, but you have wonderful memories to carry you on.I pray that god will help you and Susan and Mr.Barrett get through these difficult times to come. Love ya

I was so sad to hear of the passing of Marie.  She was such a sweet woman.  My memories of my childhood are so full of your family.  I can see our moms, along with the Chathams and sometimes Mrs. Mead having their chats in the backyard at the point where all of our fences met. Wonderful memories of one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known.
