Marilyn Elaine Bernard Sluder, 80, and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. Marilyn, born December 24, 1935, was the loving mother of four children, and is survived by daughter, Cherie Price of Gilbert, AZ; sons, Wayne and Louis; and daughter, Linda, all of Davie, Florida. She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Sister to Gene Bernard, deceased. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and worked many years at VIP Auto Sales on Phillips Highway in Jacksonville with her brother, Gene, and sister-in-law, Ruthene Bernard. Marilyn had a great sense of humor and quick wit. She had an unbelievable memory enabling her to recall hundreds of customers names while working at VIP. She was a unique person blessed with a beautiful soul and spirit. She will be missed but her memory everlasting.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., 32207.
