Marion W. Stack

Marion Wyrick Stack, 85, passed away March 10, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida after a lengthy illness. She was a longtime member of Murray Hill United Methodist Church and a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was an AVON rep for 50+ years. Marion was known to many at LSAA as “Grandmother” while watching her grandchildren play sports at both “The Park” and school. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Ernest Stack; her mother and father; 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Marion will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Connie) Stack and Alan (Teresa) Stack; daughter, Brenda (Ken) Sowers; grandchildren, Steve (Carolyn) Stack, Brenda (Chris) Crawford, Dee Dee Stack, Kevin (Tricia) Sowers , Brian (Trudy) Sowers and Randy Stack ; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Kelsey, Cody, Bailee, Ethan, Aidan, Julia and Rorie. The family will greet friends for visitation from 6-8 pm, Monday, March 14, 2011 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Murray Hill United Methodist Church, with Rev. Nate Voles officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to either NE FL Community Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
