She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Julien, and her three children, Kathy Keel, Milt Lietzke, and Carol Scialli, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Marjorie attended the University of Wisconsin. During WWII she worked on the Manhattan Project in Oak Ridge, TN. She went on to become one of the first women to program the ORACLE, the fastest computer in the world in its time, and became a renowned expert in programming languages.
A memorial service will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, January 23, 2015 at St. John’s Cathedral, 256 Church Street, Jacksonville, Florida. HARDAGE-GIDDENS, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Boulevard is serving the family.
