

After graduation at Rollins College, where she met her husband of the next 69 years, she and Carlton lived in Crystal Lake, Illinois, Tampa, and Jacksonville. After living 15 years on their sailboat, Comesin, they lived in the house they built at Littlelot on the St. John's River near St. Augustine.
Marjorie was a writer, and had short stories appear in magazines such as the Saturday Evening Post and Redbook and wrote articles for Yachting Magazine about their sailing adventures. She was also the boss in the family art business. And she had four sons and a daughter, Chris (Corriany), Tim (Janice), Jeff (Courtney), Doug (Dot), and Julie, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Marjorie lived a full and enchanted life with great strength and grace and beauty and faced every challenge with her smile and a cheerful, positive attitude that infected all who knew her.
