Mark Wallace Baldwin, also known as “Markamus” by his children, peacefully passed away in his home in Jacksonville, Florida on October 15, 2020.
He was born on January 19, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother and father, Eleanor and Wallace Baldwin.
Mark leaves behind his sisters Anne (Peter) and Lynne Baldwin; brother Scott (Carol); daughters Megan (Nick) and Erin (Jonathan); son Thomas and his beloved grandsons Zachary and Brendan. He also leaves behind his dog Jackson, whom he adored.
Major Mark Baldwin, served in the United States Air Force from November 5th, 1979 through January 1st, 1994. As a Navigator, he proudly flew in the greatest fighter jet to grace the blue skies the F-4. He was a true patriot.
After his military service, Mark spent the last twenty-five years as a claim’s adjuster at Allstate Insurance. He was looking forward to his retirement in December 2020.
Marks greatest joys were going to the Jaguar games with his family, weekend trips to Costco, and driving down every back road in Jacksonville.
Anyone who knew Mark, knew he was a man of few words, but of great action. Mark was an honorable man and adored his family. He truly brought the love of God to earth and will be greatly missed by all.
