Marsha Ann Sanders

Marsha Ann (Jarboe) Sanders, age 59, passed away comfortably at her home on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. She was born on February 15, 1958 in New Albany, Indiana to Mary Kathryn (Fleming) Jarboe and Ernest J. Jarboe. Marsha graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Lab Technology, and moved to Jacksonville in 1988.

She was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents of Derby, Indiana; her parents; and her sister, Mary S. Jarboe all of New Albany, Indiana. She is survived by her partner of 33 years, Stephen R. Curtis; her brothers, David Jarboe of New Albany, and Mike Jarboe of Houston, TX; nieces and nephew, Diane Tinius and Debbie Reas of New Albany; Steve Jarboe of Dallas, and Donna Kimmel of Charlotte; eight great nieces and nephews, Natalie, Caitlin, David, Nicholas, Amy, Peter, Frank, and Holly; brand new grand-niece, Paisley. She is remembered by Jason and Victoria Manuel; her very friends best friends (and long time employers) as their right arms.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL followed by the funeral service at 3:00pm, with Fr. John Reynolds, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the ASPCA or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
