Martha J. Kelley

Mrs. Martha J. Clark Kelley, 91, passed away peacefully at Mayo Clinic - in Jacksonville, Florida on August 22, 2023.. She was born on January 17, 1932 in Miami, Florida. Her funeral service will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11am at Arlington Cemetery on 6920 Lone Star Road Jacksonville, FL 32211. She was united in holy matrimony with Lester Hall Kelley on July 28, 1951 in Headland, AL. Their union produced two children. Mr. Kelley preceded Mrs. Kelley's death on February 29, 2012.

Her wonderful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her two children David Allen Kelley of Jacksonville, FL and daughter Rosemary Kelley Thigpen of Gainesville, GA along with Son-in-law James Lee Thigpen Sr. Three grandchildren, Kelley Marie Thigpen and James Lee Thigpen Jr.(spouse Sarah Thigpen) of Gainesville, GA. and David Lee Kelley (spouse Rachael Cayer) of Charleston, South Carolina. Three great grandchildren James Lee Thigpen III and Elizabeth Grace Thigpen of Gainesville, GA and Emeri-John Hall Kelley of Charleston, South Carolina.

Martha was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor. She will always be remembered by her easy-going nature; it didn't take much to make her smile. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
