Mary Evelyn Canady

Mary “Evelyn” was born on July 14, 1932 in Telf County, Georgia. She married Clyde Canady in 1971 and they were married for 50 years. Mary is survived by her three children; Charles Melton Parker of Jacksonville, FL, Pamela J. Depinto (Russell), of St. Augustine, FL and Jesse G Whitlow of Palm Coast, FL, sister Betty I. Rose (Richard) of Jacksonville, FL, two grandchildren; Evelyn Marie Epperson (Kale) of Moore, OK and Barry D. McMahon (Jordan), two great-grandchildren; Spencer Ray McMahon and Tanner Bear McMahon of St. Augustine, FL and three nieces; Janie Crawford, Shirley Ann Conger, and Connie Soles, nephews; Rick, Rodney, Johnny, and Danny.

Evelyn loved her home and loved decorating it. She loved to be with all her family during the holidays and birthdays. Evelyn will be missed by many friends and her family.

A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A funeral service will occur on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A committal service will immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
