Mary Herrmann Dagobert

Mary Helen Mauck-Dagobert, 98, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014. Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Mauck and Henri Dagobert, also sister, Margaret and brothers, Joseph, Lucius, Edward, Leo and Stephen.

Mary is survived by her beloved sister, Agnes Durden, and daughters, Linda, Veronica, and Stephanie (Berkley); sons, Dennis (Mary), Alan (Cathy), and Charles. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary was born in Orlando, Florida to Lucius and Helen Herrmann on January 22, 1916. Thereafter lived in Cocoa Beach, Jacksonville and San Antonio, Florida before moving back to Jacksonville in 1963. She retired from the Duval County School Board. She was a long time member of San Jose Catholic Church, Catholic Women’s Club, Garden Club and volunteered for many charitable organizations.

The family would like to especially thank caregivers, Shirley Lovelace, Chris Drechsler, and the dedicated staff at Community Hospice of NE Florida. Pallbearer’s will be Scott Kelso, John Kelso, Craig Davies, Keith Davies, Ryan Mauck and Collin Mauck. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to San Jose Catholic Church, Community Hospice of NE Florida, EWTN-TV, or Jacksonville Humane Society.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14th in San Jose Catholic Church 3619 Toledo Rd. Jacksonville, with Msgr Mortimer Danaher as Celebrant, followed by interment in Greenlawn cemetery.
