Mary Jane Davis

DAVIS - Graveside funeral service for Mary Jane Davis, who passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218. Mrs. Davis was born in Broken Arrow, OK. She lived in Sebring, FL, where she grew up and graduated high school. Mary continued to live in Sebring, FL until she met her husband, Dr. William C. Davis, DVM, at which point she and the family moved to Madison, FL and finally to Jacksonville, FL where she lived the duration of her life.. She retired as a Real Estate Specialist from the City of Jacksonville HUD Department. Mary was the widow of Dr. William C. Davis. She is survived by her 3 daughter; Jalinda B. Davis, Janellen D. Hill (Dr. Richard D. Hill), and Suzanne Carol Randall (Steve); 2 sons, Michael F. Davis and Robert M. Davis.; a sister, Joann P. Rimes (John); a brother, John Douglas Piety; 8 grandchildren; 6 great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a daughter, Diane E. Davis; a son, Timmothy May Davis; 2 brothers , Wallace E. and Marcus H. Piety.
