Mary Ann Harmon

Born on March 5, 1958, in Jacksonville, Florida, Mary Ann was the beloved daughter of Rosario Urso and Zina Canto. A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, she built a life centered around family, faith, and community.

Mary Ann was a proud graduate of Bishop Kenny High School, Class of 1977, where she formed lifelong friendships and remained actively involved as a dedicated member of the Class of '77 reunion committee. She went on to have a successful career in the insurance industry, working with Prudential and later Florida Blue from 1986 until retirement in 2013.

A devoted Catholic, Mary Ann was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic minister. Her faith was an important part of her life and guided her kindness, compassion, and generosity towards others.

Mary Ann found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She cherished every moment with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life. She also enjoyed attending concerts and making memories with friends and family.

She is survived by her fiancé, Chuck Terry, her children Christina Sydorowicz and Brandon Ghioto; her cherished grandchildren, Dominic and Gabriel Sydorowicz, and Braydon and Sofia Ghioto; her sister, Josephine Wheatley; and her brothers, Ross Urso and Frank Urso. She will also be deeply missed by extended family members, dear friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mary Ann's warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
