In addition to raising four children, her career included working for Prudential and Watson Realty Corporate offices for 32 years. She was a member of the Mandarin Garden Club and volunteered for Baptist Hospital. Her hobbies included gardening, ceramics, bingo, and travel. She had a true love for collecting (lots) of vintage Pyrex. Our mother will be missed deeply by family and friends. A life lived to the fullest.
Her children will remember her perfect contentment admiring our father as he tended to the elaborate landscaping. We always knew rose gardens over their almost 60 years of love and marriage. They just seemed to complete each other. Now, we can be rest assured to stop and remember to stop and smell the roses.
A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A committal service will follow the service in Oaklawn Cemetery.
