Mary Elizabeth Kriz

Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Kriz, 89, passed away on February 24, 2010. She was born in Manchester, New Hampshire. Betty served in the U. S. Navy and was a veteran of WWII. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a Life Member of The American Legion Post #79 of Manchester, New Hampshire. Betty enjoyed needlepoint as well. She is preceded in death by her husband, Laurence L. Kriz; brother, Zeke Beernaert; and sisters, Helena St. Jean and Margaret Germas. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Elizabeth (Kevin) Pitts and granddaughter, Amelia Elizabeth Pitts. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:00 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 2609 Park Street. Interment to follow at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
