Mary Jeannette Stockton, 82 a long time resident of Daytona Beach went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2012. She was a true southern bell born January 22, 1930 in Jacksonville, FL. Daughter of Captain Edward A. Chelton and Helen M. MacLean. Mary Jeannette was a graduate of Landon High School in Jacksonville and retired from a 36 year career as a Customer Service Manager at BellSouth. She was a faithful member of Westminster By-The-Sea Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, exercising and was a voracious reader. She is survived by her son Richard (Jay) Stockton, Jr., his wife Jenny Stockton, her grandson, Jason Stockton of New Smyrna Beach, FL and many loving Chelton and MacLean family members. A celebration of life will be held graveside, Saturday, May 5, 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery.
