Matt Fraser was not just as a cook or a coworker, but as a beacon of laughter and kindness in our lives. Meeting at Fast Boys Wing around 2005-2006, we quickly became friends, united by long shifts and Matt's relentless humor. His dream of stand-up comedy spoke to his innate ability to bring joy to any moment, a testament to the light he carried within him.

Gone at only 37, Matt's absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him—his family, his friends, and his loyal dog, Ramshack. His passion for old cars, especially his Mustang, mirrored his approach to life: full of enthusiasm and a deep appreciation for the journey.

As we bid farewell to Matt, let's honor his memory by living as he did—with laughter, love, and kindness. Matt's legacy is the joy he spread and the lives he touched. Rest in peace, dear friend. You are deeply missed, but your spirit continues to inspire us.

Matt was a wild soul always living life on the edge and to the fullest. From his love of his camaro’s 72 and his 84 to his quads, dirt bikes and snowboards I remember our youth like yesterday. Your tight group of Putnam valley friends will miss you and always remember the crazy days of high school. You are always in our hearts and I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend growing up.

My deepest condolences to the family and close friends for your loss. Matt and I opened the Gators Dockside in fruit cove together. He was a barrel of fun in stressful situations in the restaurant. Along with giving people joy with his jokes he really enjoyed making special meals for the staff. He truly enjoyed making food for his coworkers all off menu items. He spoke often about his love for his family, his love of fast cars, food, and a Big New York Giants fan. Much love for you brother 🖤💜❤️RIP

I love you man. You sculpted my adolescence and were such a huge part of my life from the time we spent, and the unforgettable memories we shared together. I can’t begin to describe what your friendship meant to me.
