

Michael Jerry Hill, age 68, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born in Tampa, Florida, on July 6, 1956, to Jerry Lee Hill and Joanne Brown. He joined the United States Army after high school and spent the next 18 years serving our country. During his service he was awarded the Army Service ribbon, National Defense Service medal with one brown service star, 2 Overseas Service ribbons, Expert Rifle and Grenade badge, Master Parachutist badge, Army of Occupation medal (Berlin), Army Commendation medal (20 Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct medal (5th award), and 3 NCO Professional Development ribbons. He also served as jump master where he trained other service members before retiring with an honorable discharge as a Sergeant First Class (SFC), E7, in 1992. He enjoyed being outdoors deep-sea fishing with his brother, swimming in the ocean with his grandsons, enjoying a good bonfire with his daughter, and camping under the stars with family and friends. He is survived by his Son Michael Jeremy Hill (Leah) and Daughters Nicole Louise Hill (Allen) and Rheaume Anderson. Grandchildren Bailey (Diana), Cameron, Emalee, Leia, Jacob, and Grayson, Brother Jeff Hill (Cecilia), Great grandson Andrew, Nieces Johanna Burgess (Hootie), Erica Golden (Ben), and Tory Boone (Darrell), Nephew Paul Olson (Brandi), Great Nieces and Nephews Devinne, Jayden, Brendan, Nate, Lexi, Luke, Jacksyn, and Dakota. He was preceded in death by his Father Jerry Lee Hill (Stepmother Lena), Mother Joanne Brown (Stepfather John), Sisters Terri Davis (Brook) and Rachel Hill, Brother Jason Lee Hill, and Nephew Jonathan Hill.
