Alice,
Our condolences to you and your family. Dale was a regular at our Friday morning meetings of retired railroaders at Hardees.We told a lot of railroad stories at these meetings. He will be missed by all of us.

You and Dale were always such a beautiful couple.  I remember the times I ran into you at the pharmacy in Walmart.  I lost Wade in 2013 after 54 years together and remember the day you played the organ at our wedding.  Remember all the great memories you shared.  God is with you.

We had the pleasure of meeting Mr Turknett on a few occasions, he had a great sense of humor and was just fun to be around. Our condolences and prayers go out to all the family and close friends.

Dale was a friend so many years afo, in the 60s, 70s.  He blessed anyone who knew him with his wit, his love for dear Alice, and his friendship.  Life well lived Dale.  The Holts, Clintons, Grandys, and Gerardis - what love we had for each other.  Miss you Dale, and I am thankful my friend Pam reconnected me with you through a picture.  God's Grace.

For over 22 years we have lived in the neiborhood with Dale and Alice, we are proud to call them our friends, they watched our children Renee and Ryan grow up on that street 3 doors down.  Our deepest sympathy to you Alice and your family.

To Aunt Alice, Valerie and Curtis- I wanted to say how sad I was to learn of Uncle Dale's passing.  You already know that, for many years, our relationship was strained.  But God is so much wiser than we are and always had His plan in place for us.  I ran into Uncle Dale unexpectedly one morning and had breakfast with him.  We went that night to visit with him and Aunt Alice and had a really nice talk and were able to forgive each other.  The very next night, he had his accident.  I would never have gotten to have that conversation with him if I had waited any longer.  I'll always be grateful for those last, few, precious moments I had with him.  Now, he and his brother, sisters and parents, are reunited and rejoicing in the presence of the Lord.  I will pray for your strength to get through this difficult time and for the comfort of your families.
