

Olimbi Vito, born on April 10, 1949, passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 76. Olimbi was known for her kind-hearted nature and made lasting impressions on everyone she met. Her life was filled with passion for learning and sharing her knowledge, as reflected in her early accomplishments and later career.
She graduated from college with a bachelor's degree, showcasing her dedication to education. Professionally, Olimbi worked as an editor for a publishing company, where she contributed her skills and expertise with diligence and care.
Olimbi is survived by her loving family, including her husband, Vangjel Vito; her two sons, Gert Vito and Andi Vito; her sister, Nexhmie Cali; and her brother, Ilmi Mici. Her legacy continues through her nieces, Olsida Vito, Joana Vito, and Daniella Mici, and her nephews, Julian Vito, Alexander Vito, and Rinald Mici.
Fluency in five languages and a love for reading and writing highlighted Olimbi's personal interests. She cherished time spent with family and friends, and had a profound love for cooking and gardening. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel far and wide, always eager to explore new destinations.
A visitation will be held on December 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Legacy Lodge, located at 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32207. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at the same venue. A committal service will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery, also situated at 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32207.
Olimbi Vito's memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and she will be remembered for her warmth, wisdom, and zest for life.
