

Pasquale "Pat" Bianco of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the age of 91. He was born in Savannah, Georgia but moved to Jacksonville at an early age. After graduating from St. Joseph Academy high school in 1948 he enlisted in the US Navy. He spent the next six years aboard air craft carriers during the Korean war era. Once home he began working for the US Postal Service. During this time he met and married his wife, Dolores Goergen in 1956. Next he attended the University of Florida before moving his family to West Haven, CT for two years. After relocating back to Jacksonville he became an Air Traffic Controller until his retirement where he had now completed thirty-two years in Government Service. His next choice of post retirement occupation was to spend 21 years as a Court Baliff in Duval County. Pat was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-eight years, Dolores; his son, Jim Bianco (Idaho). He is survived by daughters, Nancy and Cathy (Jacksonville), son, Ted (Virginia) and sisters, Connie Willyoung (Jacksonville), by 23 hrs and Carol Ann Wyatt (Nashville, TN.) Also Grandchildren: Jay(Texas), Ben( Virginia), Josh and Toni (Idaho). Pat was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church of Jacksonville and the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home Friday May 7th at 5:00pm followed by the Rosary at 5:30pm.
Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church Saturday May 8th at 10am.
