Patricia Crawford Deem

died peacefully on March 30, 2023

with family by her side.

Patty was born July 2,1929 to Ruth and Alvin B Crawford in Mt Lebanon, PA.

Patty was an avid golfer, bowler, bocce ball player, bingo and uno champ!

After graduating with a BS degree from Purdue University, where she was a cheerleader and golfer, she moved back to the Pittsburgh area and married the late William R. Deem at the Heinz's Chapel in Pittsburgh PA.

She was the Women's golf club champion at Hill Crest CC for many many years as well as a fantastic bowler!

Patty is survived by her children, Karen Tutwiler, Bill Deem (Amy), Sharon DiFilippo (Armen), her grandchildren: Warren (Susie), Doug (Paige), Will (Tori) Tutwiler; Austin and Francesca Deem; and Kaileigh (Conor) McGuinness, and Armen and Alexa DiFilippo, and 4 precious great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marilyn (Middy) Towle.

Patty was predeceased by her husband, William Ray Deem; her son, Lt. Douglas C. Deem; and son-in-law, Warren C. Tutwiler.

A private Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Oaklawn Chapel and Cemetery on April 8, 2023.
