Paul David Dvorcek

Paul David Dvorcek, 37, passed away unexpectedly on November 21st, 2010. Paul was a resident of St. Johns County, Jacksonville, FL. He was born to Carl and Rosalie Dvorcek in Great Lakes, IL on March 22, 1973. He lived in many cities during his father’s Naval career, finally settling in Jacksonville. Paul was a graduate of Terry Parker High School and the University of North Florida. Paul started his adult working career as a General Maintenance Worker on Naval Firefighting Trainers in Mayport, Florida employed by Lockheed Martin. After completing college, he became a leader and pace setter in advertising sales, working for WOKV Radio and most recently, the Jacksonville Business Journal. Paul’s love and knowledge of sports was unparalleled. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Jacksonville Jaguars and never missed a game. Paul was a Little League Coach and he volunteered at the St. Johns Parks and Recreation Department for T-Ball. He also was an accomplished chef who loved to cook and try new recipes. He was a much beloved son, brother, husband, devoted father and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In the words of his children, he was a fun dad. He could bring a smile to your face with one word. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Kristina, and his three sons, Cameron Dvorcek, Trevor Dvorcek and Jackson Dvorcek; brother, Carl Dvorcek Jr.; mother and father Carl and Rosalie Dvorcek; grandmother, Dorothy Taylor; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, November 26th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with Visitation from 5:00 pm until the start of the 7:00 pm service time.
