Paul Windsor enjoyed a full life. At 17, he enlisted in the Navy during the Korean war and worked as a radar operator on the USS Intrepid. After the Navy, Paul met Caroline Callaghan, and after a short courtship, he asked her to marry him, but Caroline’s parents required him to become Catholic, and Paul became Catholic in 1956 and married Caroline in 1956. Paul worked hard on his education building it from GED to various vocational training centers within the places he worked and community colleges he attended. He worked for the government for a period, and then he decided to try the business of golf club repair. After realizing the golf club repair business couldn’t support his family, Paul contracted his abilities in technical illustration and achieved success. As computers started to gain accessibility, he began to use them to achieve the same success as he did in freehand. Paul trained in AutoCAD and worked on the ground floor of computer aided design. After years in working for Airplane companies in illustration, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he retired and worked part-time in merchandising. After a few years in merchandising, he finally retired from work altogether and settled down.
Paul’s wife Caroline passed away December 2002. Greta Moore, a dear friend, passed away in March 2018. Paul’s surviving children are Paul Andrew Windsor Jr., Jeffery Anthony Windsor, Phoebe Aileen Cotton (Stephen Albert Cotton), Benjamin David Laughlin Windsor, Paul’s grandchildren: Patrick Windsor, Kathleen Cantrell, Timothy Windsor, Rachel Raimy, Madeline Windsor, Brian Cotton, Natalie Cotton (Daniel Godfrey), Julia Cotton, David Cotton, and Harrison Windsor, Paul’s great grandchildren: Harriet Windsor, Logan Windsor, Well Windsor, and Eleanor Windsor
