Peggy Fowler Kenyon

KENYON- Peggy Fowler Kenyon, 86, passed away peacefully Friday, August 24, 2007. Born in Macon, GA in 1921, Peggy was raised in Pennsylvania. She participated in numerous musical and stage productions in the Pittsburgh area and continued her musical career in New York City. After moving to Jacksonville, Florida, Peggy used her musical talents and deep spiritual knowledge to participate in choir and teaching programs at Arlington Congregational Church. She was a wonderful homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Thomas Neal Kenyon; a daughter, Barbara Kenyon (Philip) Ferris; a son, Thomas Lyon (Diane) Kenyon; 7 grandchildren: Stacy, Andy (Evangeline), and Adam Ferris, and Tommy (Tamera), Jeremy (Audra), Trevor (Stephanie), and Brian Kenyon; 2 great grandchildren: Abigail and Serenity; sisters-in-law Katie Kenyon Sikes and Sylvia Debs Fowler; and cousins Anita McLellan and Buddy Harvey. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday, August 29, at Arlington Congregational Church, 431 University Blvd N, with Dr. Bruce Havens officiating.
