My condolences to all who knew and loved dear Phyllis. I had the pleasure of knowing her at WJXT. She was such a sweet person and a great co-worker. We loved to talk about cooking shows and wishes of being able to make those great dishes. My heart goes out to you, George and your family.

George and family, I have many fond memories of Phyllis darting up and down the halls of WJXT making sure that everybody had what they needed in a motherly way.  She made everyone feel special-- like an insider when she would share a quip.  Phyllis was a first class human being and I am glad we had time together.  My best to you all.

George, I am so sorry for your loss of Phyllis. She was one of the first persons who I came to know when I arrived at WJXT in 1990. She always was so cheerful you could not do anything but smile at her. She was a positive influence on me. Just be comforted that she is in a better place with no pain what so ever.

Phyllis and I became fast friends because of our mutual love for our animals.  She shared many amusing stories about Gabe, Chester(RIP), Midnight and Henry. I kept her updated on the ongoing antics of my Jack Russell, Maggie.  I knew that she understood the blessing that our "furry children", as we referred to them, brought to our lives. I will miss Phyllis more than I can say.  She was far more than a coworker.  She touched the lives of every person who knew her at Community Hospice. I will forever cherish the fond memories of our little "morning meetings" before we started our day at work.
