Rachel Soudas, 85, passed away April 23, 2016. She was born July 5th, 1930 in Havana, Cuba. Rachel immigrated to the USA in 1955 for a better life for her family and became a US citizen in 1969. She managed a dress making company in the 60’s and 70’s. She later ran a catering business with her husband, specializing in Cuban food, from which they later retired. Rachel enjoyed cooking, a good pig roast, music, traveling, and just having fun. Rachel is survived by her husband George N. Soudas; her daughter Dr. Maria E. Mora; Nicolas K. Soudas; as well as two sisters and one brother in Cuba. She is also survived by many loving friends and family.
