Ralph Powell

Ralph Powell, 69, passed away February 27, 2011. He was born in Ozark, Arkansas and was a resident of Jacksonville, FL since 1960. Ralph retired from Kerr-McGee after many years of dedicated service. He attended Blanding Blvd. Baptist Church. Spending time with his grandchildren was his passion. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 49 beautiful years Jeanette; children, Pam Dixon, Diane (Carl) Tyner, and Chris (Stephanie) Powell; grandchildren, Candace Tyner, Brittaney Dixon, Dalton and Sumer Powell; brother, Lee (Liz) Powell of Clarksville, Arkansas; sister, Margie Anderson of Houston, Texas; a host of other relatives and many wonderful friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in the funeral home chapel, where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor David Adair of Blanding Blvd. Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL.
