Randy Gene Griffin passed away October 22, 2025, following a battle with cancer. Randy led a full life and enjoyed a very successful career in hospitality management. He traveled to more than 15 countries and lived in the beautiful cities of Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Chicago, Washington, DC and Jacksonville. He had an adventurous side, enjoying white-water rafting, tandem hang gliding, tandem skydiving, snow skiing and deep-sea fishing.
Randy is survived by two sisters - Cindy Hayes and Sherry Bullard. Small, intimate memorial services will be held in North Carolina and Washington, DC. Randy requested that those who wish to honor him consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
His beloved dog Poco was adopted by a wonderful, older couple, and he is happy and healthy at his new home.
