Rhonda Raulerson Thomas passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on September 1, 1953, Rhonda was a lifelong Floridian whose life was marked by her love of family, friends, and her faith. A devoted Christian, she was a long-time member of Whitehouse Baptist Church, where her faith in the Lord was an important and guiding part of her life.
In her career as a business owner and hair stylist, Rhonda was well-loved by her colleagues and clients, many of whom were her dearest friends. Her salon chair was more than a place of work. It was a place of laughter, encouragement, and heartfelt conversation. Beyond her talent and professionalism, she took pride in making the world a more beautiful place.
Those who knew Rhonda would attest that family is what she held dear. She treasured every moment spent with them, especially her four grandsons, who were the light of her life. She did not miss an opportunity to remind them that she would always love them “to the moon and back.”
In addition to her parents, Clinton and Cleo Raulerson, Rhonda is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Larry Thomas. She is survived by her two children, Lisa Chamberlain (Robb) and Jake Thomas (Kim), her four grandsons, Chase, Zane, Colby, and Beau, her brother Jeff Johnson (Kim), and his daughters, her nieces Abbi and Madi.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who prayed and supported Rhonda during her illness. Rhonda's legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved and the beauty she brought to the world.
Rhonda’s family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service officiated by Pastor Bronson Clemens.
