Rick passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. Rick was born in Kannapolis, North Carolina and is preceded in death by his beloved mother Ruth. He is survived by his wife of over 42 years Rosa, their daughter Brittany, and countless friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness and unwavering love.
Rick was valedictorian of his High School and instead of going to his graduation, he joined the Air Force that same day. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and worked for Johnson and Johnson as a Global Logistics Planner (or international business man if you asked him) for over 30 years. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, spending time at the beach, traveling, and most of all spending time with his daughter Brittany. He was an avid reader and passed on his love for reading and playing video games to his daughter Brittany.
Rick will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and deep love he had for his family and friends. Rick was a compassionate and loving man who was always there to lend a hand and share his knowledge to anyone who needed it and made friends with everyone he met. Rick's legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on in all who knew him and he will be missed dearly.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many friends and family who have shared thoughts, prayers, and support. We appreciate it more than you know.
